Cub Scout Family Camps

We conduct a pack-wide family camp at least once per year.  Since we always have “first time” campers in our group, we always make it an “easy” camping experience.  We’ve recently attended LA Area Council’s camps at Cabrillo Beach and Forest Lawn, as well as our own Outdoor Education Center in Irvine.  All of these venues offer a dining hall with food service, so all parents and leaders can spend the time together without worrying about cooking and cleaning.  We introduce “real” camping for the older dens.  Information on our campouts at these camps is attached. More information can be found on their websites:

For those packs that have parents that enjoy the “full” camping experience, a camping guide with most of the approved sites in the OC and Inland Empire is also attached.
